What You Will Do
As the first Sales hire, build the Sales function from scratch
Identify key use cases and customer segments to target
Develop tailored strategies for demonstrating the product’s capabilities to various customer segments and use cases
Develop demand generation strategies to drive customer acquisition
Connect with target customer prospects to showcase the product and drive them to adopting the SaaS service
Develop and execute campaigns with customer prospects to validate various hypotheses around target use cases and customer segments
Setup the appropriate foundational operational systems with a view towards scaling the Sales function long term
Skills you possess
Experience working with a SaaS service for an enterprise data analytics product
Experience taking a company from $0 to $10M ARR
Deep technical understanding of data analytics
Ability to be hands-on technical with building demos and executing early customer deployments
Good grasp of the competitive landscape with the ability to crisply articulate competitive differentiations
Established track record of selling products in a new category
Great communication skills with ability to present to C-level executives
